Our Story

Marca Personal was founded in 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Three friends got together to establish a soccer specialty store to provide a better selection to the Hispanic community and local marketplace much needed at that time.

The name Marca Personal was chosen because in Spanish has a double meaning; the organized defensive tactic of marking, and “your own brand” or “your personal brand”.


2004-2008

Marca Personal expanded to five locations in Atlanta and Charlotte markets and launched a monthly catalog that was distributed among local stores.

2009-2014

The main company name is rebranded to BEST BUY SOCCER to better express the line of business to all the different cultures and launched www.bestbuysoccer.com site with online ordering capabilities for team uniforms.

2015-2018

Acquired a warehouse and expanded the wholesale, online and teamwear lines of business.

2019-Today

Acquired Soccer Shop, rebranded the stores to Soccer Shop, and launched a new teamwear site www.playwatchwear.com to expand the offering and include a broader selection of high-performance activewear and spirit wear for teams, coaches, athletes, fans & corporate needs.
